The Cafe At Merryhatton

We visit Merryhatton quite often for a lunch/snack. Soup and sandwiches are our usual preference. We've always found the food fresh and well presented which should be expected. However, I think the staff are a valued asset here. They are polite and efficient. I want...to mention Kerry in particular as we have been served by her several times and she is the perfect example of someone who takes pride in their work. She always has time to ask if everything is ok etc.no matter how busy she is and never stops working ensuring everyone is happy. Thank you little gestures mean a lot.

Just spent 20 minutes plus waiting for our order to be taken, only to watch another party being seated and the waitress arriving to take their order less than a minute later! Left, making our feelings known to waitress, and her only response was Oh, sorry Whilst we were waiting, a number of people were served, only for the waitress to leave, not taking any notice of people waiting to order. Not very efficient. Being busy was no excuse as there were 3 waitresses about, just not working very efficiently.

this garden center is worth it. they have some beautiful plants outside. If they stop eating something, I would definitely recommend it. this place is one of my favorites. very reasonable prices. good choice. very friendly staff. their chips are exceptional and they never had anywhere else. served with my panini and salat. I told everyone I know I'm here.

eating was very bad, cranberry bacon and cheese panini. uncooked side salat terrible. Ham sandwich in the half looked awful. käsetoastie was also poor. came with soggy chips. service was very nice and friendly. the garden center was very good with high quality plants. bill came. to £29 plus better place to eat in the opposite. there was a desperate personal lack due to Kovid problems that led to a long wait for our coffee and scones, no problem for our group only to bleed. what impressed me was the gnade and the humor of the personal at the circumvent with this problem, they were beautiful and how crazy to work to get the order. very well done.

Second visit here as my partner knew of the garden centre though dealings at his work. The cafe is a little gem. Fresh food and seemingly homemade, lovely staff and a beautiful setting. Quick service and good value for money. The garden centre itself is...lovely too, especially in the run up to Christmas.

good caffe we had only sandwiches and pannini, which were both excellent, the accompanying salat was nicely dressed and the chips that came with the pannini were excellent, better than some restaurants.

Lunch visit with family, paninis were excellent, chips were crispy and fantastic, service was friendly and efficient. plan to visit another. well done.

was beautiful, as always so beautiful, friendly staff, good eating and we have a beautiful plant and the room robin came to say hello
