The Chinese food here is just average at best, and they really need to rethink their pricing. They charge £68 for a duck and pancakes in a small village, which is quite outrageous. Even takeout and restaurants in larger cities don't charge that much for the same dish. We opted for half a duck, which was still a steep £35, and although it was decent, it came with insufficient pancakes and accompaniments. Save your money; there are plenty of better Chinese restaurants in the Holme Valley.
Appalling would be an understatement. I would give it a zero if there was an option. Unfortunately didn’t read the recent reviews before ordering from here. Food was very oily, bland and tasteless. Extremely overpriced. Bad customer service with a rude man taking orders on the phone. I definitely would urge people to spend their money elsewhere. Service: Delivery
This was our first visit to Canton Chef in about five years. We chose a busy Saturday evening, with the restaurant fully booked and bustling. Despite the crowd, we had a wonderful experience, enjoying great service accompanied by smiles and delicious food. We even had a lovely conversation with the owner at the end of our meal. We will definitely be returning!
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was outstanding, and the food was delightful. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special.
