I've been waiting a long time for the Cape to offer dinner and was so happy to get the email to say they were hosting first Saturdays of the month for the next 3 months. I've been going to the Cape for a few years now and absolutely recommend them, so this occasion was even better than I could have expected. The team running the restaurant are really friendly and welcoming. The Chef is a magician, the food we were served was amazing, the starters, the main and the desert were exceptional. I like the fact that the Cape serves lager the local brewers (Rebellion brewery) nice touch!! If you can get a table please try the goat curry with yellow rice it sensational, this is now my go to meal, i'm...

my mother lives right outside of london in a place called beaconsfield, it is a really beautiful old town and it is filled with small caffes and restaurants that we like to explore when I visit them for a catch. one of our favourites is a South African café called the cape grand cafe restaurant, which serves locally fresh South African cuisine with French and Italian influences. I love to come here to breakfast, but they also make some really nice salads for lunch and larger meal to dinner. if they are ever local in beaconsfield, make sure they immerse and try the cape town early piece poached eier with speck, rocket and tomaten on seeds brot delicious!

I came here with a friend on their recommendation as they attend regular with being local to the area it did not disappoint. The place is quirky, quaint and delicious! I had the Mandela which was gorgeous. Cooked beautiful, tasted amazing and great portion size. My friend had the farmers breakfast which she insisted was delicious the fried banana was a nice quirky touch. Also, it was worth noting the coffee here was gorgeous! We had booked ahead as it was a Sunday brunch time and, as you’d expect with a gorgeous place, it was busy. Highly recommend can’t wait to return!

This was our second visit to this lovely eaterie, and what a find !! Amazing food at very competitive prices, and as it was busy and the food was slow(ish) to arrive, we were offered free coffees, which stretched to delicious brownies. Friendly service and a very warm atmosphere Have just booked to take our son and family in a couple weeks, to introduce them to this hidden gem

Overall the food was nice. We had salads and the only gripe was the waiting time. We accepted this as the location was busy but the server wasn’t overly helpful with the menu as my partner was gluten free but overall the atmosphere is nice and food tasty although the menu hasn’t changed in quite a few years and it would be nice to see a few new options on the list.

Refused visit with a Pram! After visiting The Cape for over 2 years without a child the visits were acceptable. With a visit today 04/11/23 they have refused us, didn’t ask for our booking, they just just no sorry not with a pram. Disgusting behaviour.

Whilst visiting the Beaconsfield area we went to The Cape for breakfast which was delicious. The service was excellent and there was a lovely atmosphere in the cafe. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Great food with good and fast service. What more can you ask for from a cafe? Perfect for a quick pick me up. I would recommend this place for lunch, tea and coffee.
