The Cape - Reserva de mesa

Popped in for a quick family lunch. Amazing food, lovely busy cafe but the reason I have given a negative star rating is the one particular staff member the lady who greeted us, had a very rude attitude not sure if it was towards us in particular or if she had a bad day. I gave her the benefit of the doubt until we had asked for the bill and she flung the bill at our table, leaving us all very startled! So, I’m not very sure if I will be going back again as it’s left a bad taste.

Very beautiful place With style High quality food We had the cesar sandwich And the breakfast with potatoes Rostie salmon avocado poached eggs Delicious The teas are loose leafs. All served in nice pots My husband had the chocolate pastry cake... amazing... try it if available You won't regret it We also bought their home made cape bread to take home. Very very good bread They make it fresh every day Vegetarian options: There vegetarian breakfast available

A hidden gem! The food is incredibly fresh. I tried the all-day breakfast with scrambled eggs, and the flavors were outstanding. The service was excellent, and the hot sauce they provided was simply superb—I even took a bottle home! I also had the chocolate brioche, and now I can't imagine eating any other brioche after that one. Haha. Overall, I'd rate the food 5/5, service 5/5, and atmosphere 4/5.
