Awful. We know it's a Wetherspoons,and therefore an atmosphere vacuum already,but you would think that it'd be possible to get a pint that doesn't either taste of soap,metal,or some other horrible thing. I ook one back and the fella immediately offered me something else.so that's good. However, I disnt expect the second pint ro also taste off. Tennents is almost always reliable everywhere. Not in here. We had avoided Wetherspoons pubs all through covid on principle,ad rhe owener is a horrible man.we only went back in as the Counting House is obviously more expensive. We shouldn't have. I ate in here on Tuesday 16 August, and decided to go for a baked potato with tuna mayo. When it arrived rather a tad too quickly for my liking it was an average sized portion with an equally modest amount of filling. There was no margarine or butter on the potato to give it some moistness. I' gonna give this a place now used to be good but has rapidly gone downhill. My eatery of choice now is the superb Tikka Fusion Indian takeaway in Bellsmyre. Massive portions, tasty dishes, excellent value for money, great lively atmospheeand some of the best staff you could ever hope to meet.

Something has changed here, now on our 4th visit and each time food has been great but staff have also been amazing. Won’t lie over time it hasn’t been great here but keep doing what you’re doing guys as you are nailing it and beating your competition hands down. We will be coming back as not only do we know what we’re getting but we can afford you!! I couldn’t rate this place anymore higher. I paid a visit last week, it was pretty busy even with the restrictions being followed, had a great atmosphere and all the staff were brilliant. In particular two of the staff were outstanding. The bar tender named Olivia with the black hair and the security boy on the door. A credit to the bar and to the pub. Keep up the great work folks. Would definitely highly recommend

when i arrived, they cleaned table on top, after they cleaned table, i went over sides of table with Bac Wipes filthy round edges of tables, need to clean all over table, they say need to wear masks when cleaning not getting done right, CLEAN TABLES PROPERLY, NO SHORT CUTS PLEASE, puts me right off, even take my own cutlery as i have had dirty cutlery, sorry have to be honest,

Fantastic service Great friendly staff But having to cue for a coffee, only one machine working very slowly, lots of people complaining staff trying their best. Wetherspoons seem to be running down these aged coffee machines, but whilst you do, you are loosing customers. I recommend this place highly if coffee machine works, if not head for your breakfast somewhere else

It’s been a few years since I last made a visit and I was really impressed! The staff are very professional and attentive! We live locally so will definitely be popping back in soon! We are in the process of building family holiday lodges and will definitely be recommending families to go as it’s excellent value for money! Huge choice on menu and the foods decent! We went to this pub restaurant for a quick bite only to find out the chef is not mastered the art of the microwave and over good everything including the Coke which was very watery in run down useless to say the least the charge like a wounded bull and you'll have to wait a long time for the service to so will not be returning in this lifetime

Arrived yesterday at 4.30. Order at table taken immediately. Food and drinks within 10 minutes. Excellent service. Excellent fish and chips. Excellent staff and very clean. My favourite Wetherspoons by miles. The 30 mile round trip well worth it.
