faversham has many pubs that eat and many caffes, but not many restaurants and the carriage is a cut above. the room is really nice with well equipped tables. we were there on a rainy Wednesday afternoon and it was very quiet so I liked to return at a weekend when it is busy. we had the set menu that is at 15.95 for 3 great courses. I had deaf for my starter. and the bellhead. the whole menu was really tempting, including the non meat offers. it is attached to a shepherd neame pub, so no problem to get a decent pint with her eating if she prefers to cry. tap on water when we sit without asking what I like. my a little handle could be that no brot offered but recommended overall definitiw. fr...
I recently had a 3-course lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday. The atmosphere was fantastic, with excellent service and delicious food. The set menu was very affordable, as were the drink options. The service was friendly and not intrusive. The only suggestion I have is to offer a wider selection of coffee and tea choices after the meal, but this is a minor issue. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily return.
Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you - this restaurant offers an excellent lunch experience. The menu is interesting with plenty of delicious options, and the food surpassed our expectations. The lovely couple who run the restaurant provide great service, and at £11.90 for a 2-course lunch, it's a great value. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be returning.

we had a birthday meal for my partner with her family. there we were 16 and eating was absolutely fabulous. service was also really good. all the food came together and was hot. well made to tha team at the carriage and thanks for a nice evening. we will definitely return.
