The Castle - Reserva de mesa

Didn't stay at the hotel but had a late Sunday lunch at the restaurant. It maybe because we were the last of service but service was quite slow. There was quite a pause from being seated to ordering drinks and our mains. The food when it came was a mixed bag. I personally cannot stand cauliflower cheese, but this one... I ate the lot...it was delicious and also had broccoli in it. The meat and gravy were also unbeatable however ... the roast potatoes looked as if they'd been under a warmer for the past 4 hrs and unfortunately did not taste any better...they were niether crisp or fluffy but instead dry and a little rubbery. The impressive size of the Yorkshire pud almost made up for this but...

This hotel is perfect and I highly recommend it. The rooms are nice, clean, and well-equipped with everything you could need. The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are very friendly. I would rate the rooms, service, and location all a 5 out of 5. The hotel is luxurious, romantic, quiet, and great value for the price.

We LOVE this place! Always a pleasure when Laura is working. A true professional with a sunny disposition! I’ve been coming here for years the best roast in a 10 mile radius, and the cheese fondue with caramelised pork cubes is to die for Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

We had a fabulous time visiting with friends and eating delightful food! The service was great and made for a relaxing time. I ordered the chicken kieve and it was delicious! I completed the meal with the sticky toffee pudding and it was amazing!! Reserva una mesa ahora

The meals at this restaurant can be hit or miss, with some being fantastic and others not so great. The service is also inconsistent. The rooms are rated a 5, the service a 3, and the location a 4.
