Have not been since prior to lockdown. Food was always good but not special. Cancel that ! The food on our recent visit was excellent. Four of us visited and had a variety of starters and mains. Each of us commented that the food was exceptional. The staff also were very attentive and drinks were good. Well done to all. We will be back soon.
Excellent place to stay, food was Amazing and plenty of choices and not that expensive. Great atmosphere and made to feel welcome. Great selection of real ales and beers, ciders and more. Staff were very friendly and attentive to my every needs. Rooms were great with a lovely comfy bed. Will recommend and stay here again.. 5 Star's
WOW The Chequers Inn at Dalton is a hidden gem. 9 of us went out for a meal and it was great, the portions are big, food tasted delicious, eton mess was to die for. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was comfy, if a little tired. The bed was very comfy and it was warm and clean. We had a lovely breakfast this morning and the staff were friendly Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
