I was completely shocked by the service I received at this restaurant. The Just Eat menu failed to mention that the chicken wings were spicy, so my son and I were unpleasantly surprised when we received extremely hot wings. This left my son without a meal. When I called to address the issue, I was rudely told that they couldn't help me because it was clearly stated on the restaurant menu that the wings were hot. The refusal to acknowledge their mistake, along with their sexist and disrespectful attitude, was unacceptable. Ordered 2 chicken kebabs through Just Eat on a quiet Tuesday evening whilst staying in Appledore. Email confirmation estimated delivery by 7pm. Not having arrived by 7.20 we phoned up to discover it had not printed out at their end and eventually arrived 2 hours after we ordered. Chicken was over cooked and very dry. Pitta bread like stiff cardboard. ‘Regular’ chips I dread to think what small would have looked like! Side salad and sauce very good and free bottle of pop a nice gesture but wouldn’t use again if in the area.

If I could have given no stars I would have! Ordered food for delivery, it arrived in a shocking state, the chicken skin was falling off, it was a greasy mess! Scabby bits of chicken that looked very unappealing. The wings were similar, wet, greasy, skin falling off, not crunchy or properly southern fried. We didn’t get everything we ordered and it was missing 1 can of drink and also 2 chicken strips. Unacceptable quality of food and will never order from here again.

Food was almost cold and 90 mins later from ordering. Chicken had no crisp to it atal. Third time I’ve been here but this time was Absolutely ****.. I would not recommend anybody using these idiots to deliver even some chips. Driver seemed drunk and had no idea where he was going although clear instructions were given whist the order was made.. The portion sizes have decreased significantly. It is no longer possible to place orders over the phone, and the staff are unhelpful and simply transfer your call from one person to another. This used to be a fantastic place for takeout, but things have changed recently. I would not suggest this restaurant. My last order was both cold and incomplete.

Ordered a takeaway from here last night. The kebab had so much mayo on it started to make me feel sick. The onion rings and chips were soggy and undercooked. The chicken skin was nice but very salty and the actual chicken was so over cooked it was practically inedible. This morning both me and my husband have woken up with bad stomachs. Stay away!!

I recently ordered delivery from The Chicken Shack and it was the most disappointing experience I have had when ordering food. The chicken burger, despite being expensive, was lacking in fillings and only had a small amount of sauce. The chips were also soggy, and the chicken wings were unsatisfactory.

Great food. Best round for fried chicken. Always use this as our go to takeaway. Highly rate. One time they forgot something from my order and were back ASAP and apologised, even upgraded my order Reserva una mesa ahora

Awful no salad in are burgers no sauce burgers was like rubber chicken was really dry and burn buns.
