we have a late Mother's Day cream tea for people from whom you were gluten-free. the food was delicious and enjoyed by all. with the zöliakie I was so impressed by the love to the detail (separed food and own pot of cream. and jam for the skorn). having similar cakes and sandwiches was also an additional bonus and did not make me feel like I was the strange one. the ladies were exceptionally friendly and could not have been more helpful. also magnificent bone china and spoon from all over the world. would be recommended and definitely visit again.
I came to the Chunky Teapot twice whilst working in the area this month and after having the breakfast one morning, I enjoyed it so much, I came back for lunch the next day. I'm always a believer that the sausage makes a breakfast and...the chunky breakfast didn't disappoint. The next day I had the Caesar salad, which was really tasty and I'm not one to usually pick up on presentation, but the egg on top really topped it off' nicely. The staff seemed very welcoming and the place has a general homely feel to it. I'll be back !
Hired Chunky Teapot for surprise for mum. From booking to party finish, staff were helpful, professional and very friendly. They talked me through my options, and accommodated our needs. Food was lovely, and package up all the left overs for us to take home....Great location, what a lovely little business in Sidcup. Highly recommend to treat someone to afternoon tea, or a lazy Saturday morning breakfast.
Dont hold back and get yourself to the Chunky Teapot. The lovely ladiues hosted a Birthday afternoon tea function. The food including small rolls, voule vons, scones, etc etc was excellent. The venue is intimate and worked really well for people. They did...everyihtg they could to accomodate us. All in all they were brillaint

I have been to the Chunky Teapot before, but it has only gotten better post-lockdown(s). The staff are friendly and accommodating, the prices perhaps a little high for a local café, but honestly worth it for the lovely atmosphere and good service. Will hopefully be...booking their festive afternoon tea shortly!
we had such a wonderful time in the chunky teapot today for the hot afternoon of my sister. the staff was so friendly and helpful, even helping to entertain the youngest henne, my month old! eating was really nice and they were perfect for all. our needs. would be highly recommended and will be very soon
we were a couple of times now and the cream tea is excellent. the decor is beautiful and comfortable. the tees are served in a classic teekanne and on a beautiful tablet, the scenes are a good size and the jam and dipped cream are. spot. in any case worth a visit.
for the first time I visited the clobular teekanne, with my wife who went several times to go the local park, so a long overdue visit, and younger it was worth it! we both had the club sandwich, and it was excellent to go back.

I met my sister for a late lunch. Although it was very busy, we didn't feel rushed or crowded. The food was fresh and tasty. Everything was spotless and the staff friendly. Couldn't fault anything.
A very friendly establishment which is always nice. The staff are polite and helpful. I would recommend a visits to support local business.
