This is a lovely place to eat. Their seafood is very well cooked and flavorful. My husband and I took my parents here celebrating their birthdays. My Mom turned 84 and my Dad will be 86 a week from now. The staff is beyond kind. They are very sweet and informative. The hostess is so nice you'll want to hug her. The wait staff is on the money... Fast and efficient! My parents were given a huge slice of Boston Creme Pie for dessert. I recommend this restaurant highly and this is my favorite restaurant in Florida. Thank you all!!! We will be back. I will include pictures of this awesome food. Ohhh if you go there early... They have a wonderful selection of food for $14.99. it's a smaller portio...
Came into the restaurant around like 7pm and it was pretty full. No reservation and got sat right away with my buddy and I. We are both chefs an basically had to try a bunch of different stuff. Shrimp and Crab dip was pretty good. Stuffed Mushrooms were good but def needed to base the top filling with that butter from the dish. CLAM CHOWDER WAS FIRE! I've had a lot around here in SWFL and this was hands down the best I've had in a while. Buddy got fish and chips and it seems pretty fresh and the slaw was sweet the way I like it. I got the Broiled combo. Best part was the Scallops. Those melted in your mouth and were cooked to perfection. Overall it was well priced for the quality and service...
Holy Sh!t, this was an amazing meal. Celebrating my mom's 70th birthday, with some family and friends. There was 6 of us, plus my nephew in a highchair. The place was super busy, and it was completely understandable. Appetizers were great, not one complaint. Especially, the garlic bread they rushed out for my hungry little nephew to munch on. The dinners themselves were delicious, portions for the fisherman platter was crazy. I left with leftovers, that never happens. The only let down was that they had no more crab dip. I don't remember my servers name, but she did an awesome job. The helpers as well, overall an amazing night. Thank you, and we will be back.
the hummerbisque was just as good as home in rhode island. I had the fried cuddles, they even had the bells, it was excellent. a friend had the steamer dinner, she said they were really good. my other friend had the lobster salad sandwich and said it was like home. eat the best new england I had in one. there was a waiting time, but the cocktails before the hand were a hit for my former RI friends and me. the service was excellent and we talked to the owner before she came to our table. in warwick, who goes to rocky point and bi, marthas vinyard. this place has all great new england favorites. I ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious, good the money with a generous part of the lobster and not over seasoned. the dinning room was busy and that tells them everything they need to know about the quality of the remaining menu. the staff was polite and funny to talk. a must for every new englander that tastes at home.
This restaurant and its staff are absolutely incredible. We are a 2 hour drive to this restaurant, and it’s worth every mile. We actually planned a weekend in the area just to enjoy another amazing dinner here. The best NE seafood in Florida by far. A great place! The chowder was amazing. For my meal I had the early bird special, linguine marinara with clams it was delicious and about twice the size I was expecting. My waitress which was so helpful (I just knew it had to be the owner but was just a long time employee) was great. Definitely recommend The Clam Bake.
