This Indian restaurant is fantastic! The food was amazing and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I've always noticed this restaurant but never had the chance to try it until now, and I was missing out! The chicken Makhani was delicious, as well as the fig naan bread and pistachio dessert. Everything was fresh and the restaurant was clean. The service was exceptional as well, with the two guys going above and beyond to accommodate my food request and ensure my boyfriend was happy with his naan filling. This extra effort speaks volumes about their top-notch customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Clay Oven Indian Restaurant in Roxbury, New Jersey, and it was truly a culinary delight! The standout dish for me was the Lamb Korma, which was expertly prepared and bursting with incredible flavors. The tender lamb literally melted in my mouth, and the spices were perfectly balanced, resulting in a delightful taste experience. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, I highly recommend visiting The Clay Oven and trying their delicious Lamb Korma.
We were a group of 10 people and luckily got a table fast. The waitress was welcoming and gave great recommendations of Indian dishes for new comers. She also made sure everyone had their dishes and were satisfied. Food is delicious and for a fair price! Overall had a pleasant experience here! Feeling like having Indian cuisine? This would be the place!
Usually I make several visits before giving a review. On this first visit, everything was good, the food, the atmosphere, prices are reasonable, dinner was served fast. They do have pretty limited parking space as most spaces were reserved for the motel next door so you might have to wait for a spot as we did. Otherwise, an overall nice experience.

We came for the lunch Thali and they were great. You have veg and non veg thali available which range from $12 $15. The food was freshly made and tasted good. It was like home made food with less spices. Will come here again while visiting bjs. The owners are really nice and it was a pleasure chatting with them.
My visits to the Clay Oven have always been impressive. The food is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a top-notch Indian dining experience. Can't wait to return!
Great food and wonderful people. The location was somewhat of a surprise when I found it because I would not expect that type of place where it is located. Besides awkward parking, I have no complaints. Highly recommended.
I’m so lucky to live close to such a good Indian restaurant! Friendly staff, great food, and awesome service. I was happy some of my friends were able to try out this restaurant today. Had a great dinner!

The service was great. Location is easy to get in and out of. The quality of food was amazing. They even gave us an ice cream dessert that was also delicious. Would definitely go again.
