My wife and I love Indian food and had noticed this place when we drove through Acton recently so we decided to give it a shot i think it was during the week. The place is pretty small which is fine with us and there was only one other table when we arrived and they left shortly after. We were shown to a table and given menus but then the host disappeared for 5 or 10 minutes. When he finally showed up he took our drink order and away he went, we assumed to get our drinks. Another 5 minutes went by with no drinks and he was standing folding table cloths on another table we were still the only table at this point. The Clay Oven is a great new choice for takeout in Acton. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and while some dishes may have similar flavors, everything I've tried has been quite delicious. The chicken dhansak is one of my top picks. I’ve noticed that the service has improved since the restaurant opened last year, although I primarily order takeout and haven’t dined in yet.

Absolutely delicious food made by the lovely family that owns the restaurant. They serve the best samosas I've ever tasted, and their butter chicken is fantastic. For dinner, expect to spend around CA$20–30 per person. I highly recommend the vegetable samosas, butter chicken, and garlic naan.

By far the worst makhani and pakora I've had, especially given the price. Their makhani is much too sweet, and the pakora just tastes like fried oil, no impression of chickpea or vegetables. They also use a somewhat poor brand of rice. Can't recommend if you enjoy Indian food.

I dined at this restaurant once, as I love Indian food, but I definitely won't be returning. You could say that once bitten, twice shy! The curry was the worst I've ever had, and the portion of rice was extremely small.

Seems my husband and I will be returning time and again. This, (take out order) was pure comfort food. The price point for the food was worth it and i live one town over...worth the drive.
