I have a major dilemma here! The food is so incredible that I find myself wanting to go three times a week. Unfortunately, I can't visit on Sundays for dinner because it's absolutely fantastic! This week, I enjoyed the hot brisket sandwich with homemade chips that were simply delicious. Today, I went back and tried something new: the gammon steak with chips and fried eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection, and I couldn't resist dipping my chips in a double. I brought my great-niece along, and she ate for free! The staff is exceptional, and the food is truly unmatched. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
First visit has recently moved to the area. Went with Son and girlfriend. Has we walked in ,the staff members all stared making us feel very uncomfortable. A lot of the tables were reserved but managed to find one . Pub atmosphere was lovely. Has the night went on we felt more relaxed . Will be visiting again for food,as the food looked and smelt lovely
I decided to take shelter from the rain and stumbled upon a cozy pub. Despite being very busy, I was greeted warmly. The Sunday lunch menu looked delicious and was clearly a popular choice. I will definitely have to come back and try the food.
The dining experience was fantastic. We had a party of 12 people and all the meals arrived together, piping hot, and the staff was also excellent. Can't fault the restaurant at all. The entire staff made us feel very welcome.

Great food at realistic prices, the staff are lovely too. I have never had a bad carvary here and I've been several times. The beef was melt in the mouth and the gammon oh my goodness the gammon was amazing
This is the best pub food we've enjoyed in a long time. We went today and had lasagna, cod, and scampi, all freshly cooked and absolutely top-notch. We will definitely be returning to The Cliff!
I often visit this restaurant for their Sunday dinner, which is the best in the city. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and it's a beautiful place to dine.
First visit and most certainly not the last, great food, great service and lovely pub would highly recommend

Very good traditional pub food and very generous amount. Only one real ale on tap so one star knocked off.
Meal was very nice. We had carvery tickets enjoyed it good work we booked very busy.
