Just yesterday I was sat on a bus which was waiting it's time in Gibsons Ln, Ards (Donaghadee Belfast via Newtownards . I noticed this chippy opposite and as was a little hungry, I eyed up the lunch time specials advertised in the window of this chippy. Temptations got too much, so decided to get off bus to take advantage of such a special, and so would get the following bus onto Belfast eventually Coleraine. There were 2 staff on duty, a young man on the counter, a lady who was frying. Both were most pleasant with me and other customers. So anyway I ordered a cheeseburger chip special with a 500ml bottle of fanta lemon. Cost was £4.80(turned out to be such a bargain . After around 7 8 minut...
In for the first time on the 05.06.2023 and will definitely be back. This visit was on the back of a recommendation and I have to say it was absolutely beautiful. The battered cod was exceptional. The batter was light and crispy and the chicken goujons were the nicest I have ever eaten, again the batter was light and crispy. My partner had the chicken fillet burger. It was massive and also agreed on the batter itself whilst saying it was the best they have had. Great customer service and very reasonably priced.
We placed a large order this evening and it was excellent value. Brilliant portions and everyone very much enjoyed what they had, my toddler absolutely loved the big flakes of cod. Also one of the best pasties I have ever tried. Very helpful staff on the phone and order was ready in good time and all hot and very fresh. This was our first time trying and we will be back!
I placed an order and ordered a gravy chip which ended up costing me £6.70. Input in the notes requesting gravy as it Wasn’t in the choice of sauce a s ended up with a chip with no sauce and when I phoned I was charged £3.30 for a tub of gravy . I am not impressed at this at all . Really bad service .

I tried this place for the first time tonight and believe me when I say I will be back. I ordered a pastie which was absolutely scrummy and the chunky homemade chips that came with it were totally fantastic I could have ate a bucket of them. Superb value friendly helpful staff. You are awesome.
This is the best Chippy about the food never disappoints .crispy batter and chunky chips we love the chicken stripes and battered sussage .had the fish it's fresh and all good value the staff friendly .
Always lovely to deal with and one with young familys you wouldn't need to order loads as they give you above and beyond any other chippy in ARDS. Things are tight for everyone and this truley helps. X
The problem with telling people how great the cod father is that one stands the risk of huge queues the next time one wants some food

I come up from Belfast to go to the market and this place is amazing. Chips are chunky and homemade and the fish is amazing
It's a take out that's why Atmosphere is just average, good food quick service
