The fish and chips at this restaurant are the best I've ever had, except for Mariners Wharf in Hout Bay. Unfortunately, Cape Town is too far for me to get a regular refill. The fish is cooked to order with a crispy batter and perfectly flaky flesh. The chips are also fresh, made from real potatoes. My neighbor and I split an order since we are older ladies, but the men in our group dive in with determined expressions and satisfied sighs.

I ordered a large meal from The Codfather for a nearby care home, and it was a hit with both the residents and staff! The staff at The Codfather were extremely helpful and friendly.
