A fabulous little coffee house, offering a wide range of coffees from around the world, in a choice of 9 different forms from espresso through to typical flat white. Owned by a Brazilian couple, who recently purchased the business on ebay, a lot of pride in the café clearly shines in the décor, customer service and menu, which include a range of cakes, lunches and deserts, all at very affordable prices. For example toasties at £2.95 an unbelievably low price. The layout of the café promotes the range of coffees on offer in a clever but simple way. Overall it's a hidden gem. Well worth a visit!
Stumbled on this place while exploring the city. The owners were lovely, very friendly and clearly knew a lot about coffee. There's so many choices, I describes the kinds of flavours I liked and they recommended me a blend which turned out to be delicious. We also tried the sandwiches which just hit the spot the only improvement I could make would be to the bread as it seemed like the standard Hovis loaf so improving this to a nice artisan style etc. would make this perfect. Overall really enjoyable, I'll be back!
Searching the internet for decent coffee in Nottingham and up pop's this place and boy what a find...it's seriously tiny (10 seats upstairs and 9 downstairs I think) but the quality of the coffee and food is just outstanding and the staff welcoming, friendly and efficient it deserves all the praise it gets, thanks guys.
It was the story that initially attracted us to this venue. A little difficult to find tucked away up an alley but definately worth the effort. Fine selection of coffees and snacks. Very very nice couple. Very friendly and extremely welcoming. They should be proud of their quality product. Highly recommend.

Found on TripAdvisor, slightly difficult to find (down a small alleyway) but with map and phone, it was ok. Very friendly, great coffee and a nice lunch.Very peaceful, no noise/rushing. Staff helpful and hard working. A food find
Such a great little coffee house and a lovely place to escape to! Staff were friendly and helpful and recommended the perfect coffee for me! Delicious! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Nottingham!
We wanted a small, independent cafe and came upon The Coffee House by a happy accident. Such a pleasant change, and would heartily recommend a visit. The iced coffee in particular was the best ever.
Lovely coffee with lots of choice and knowledgeable staff. Great choice of food with great options for vegan/vegetarians. Highly recommended!

This small, hidden cafe is packed with flavours and good food. We visited for a late breakfast and I ordered the pork and apple toastie.
So much awesome coffee to choose from. Up a hidden alley way. Nice reprieve from busy streets. Would definitely recommend a visit.
