We went for Sunday dinner first time after hearing it was voted the best in Nottingham. Beef was fatty got given 3 runner beans half a carrot and parsnip, one roast potato.The excuse for the fatty beef was a blinder! The reason it was fatty was because at this time of year the cows don’t eat well because of the weather. The service was good very enthusiastic staff and quiz was fun unfortunately the food was not to the standard we were led to believe. Can provide photos if required.

Visited a couple of weeks ago, once in the week and once on the Sunday, had the Teriyaki Salmon was beautifully cooked and presented. It was that nice we decided to go for Sunday lunch on the Sunday. It was just as beautiful, I had the beef and my husband had the lamb, both cooked perfectly. Unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of the salmon, but please take my word for it!

Me and my partner recently are here for a Sunday lunch. One of the best roasts I’ve had in a very long time, we both had the pork belly and it was amazing the cauliflower cheese is also to die for! Service is always 10/10 too, every time. Highly recommend to book to as they get very busy! A must visit pub, with an excellent roast!

Such a lovely pub to visit, food was brilliant and well worth the money. The staff and atmosphere of the pub is always warm and welcoming! The young tattooed gent and his female coworker were a vibrant refreshing presence as well, just the service you want when looking for a fun place to go for some food and drinks! We had a delicious Sunday lunch once again! We have been to this restaurant many times and it never disappoints. The selection of meats is great for my husband, and there are delicious vegetarian options for me. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!

2nd visit here. Returned after first hour as staff friendly, great atmosphere and food excellent. Sunday Roast delicious.
