"Nothing bad to say, except that it can be a bit pricey. The flavors here are amazing though, and the presentation is beautiful. The brunch menu is just as fun as their dinner menu; definitely recommend for a fun night out, or special occasion. Go with a group if you can since portion sizes are meant to be shared!"

Decided to go for an early Valentines dinner in Utah County as we have had some success with places such as Black Sheep. We choose Communal right in the middle of downtown based on previous reviews. For so many reasons, this might be our new go to for “special date night.” 1 The food was perfect and unique. The complimentary bread needs special mention, they say it’s not quite sourdough but whatever it is, it was amazing. We choose the persimmons (which I though was weird but my wife said was amazing , funeral potatoes and the sweet potato as sides. If you like cheese and hash browns, the funeral potatoes are heaven, holy frijoles. Our server recommend the pork loins. Not only were the huge...

The food was remarkably delicious! They just recently opened Brunch Mon -Fri and not just Saturday. So a great menu for breakfast! We had a hash root bowl, cookies and Sage engraving, and a coconut milk, Chia pudding with pineapple and cooked coconut flakes. I shared mine with my most important one and it was perfect. Even another person would have filled her belly to the generous amounts. This place is definitely the taste you get with quality over quantity! If you want to dine a stylish, refined place, with delicious delicious food, come to the Commune!!! So glad I did it!

“Communal” is a good way to describe the atmosphere here. The tables are closer together than the average restaurant, but the food makes up for it! My wife and I had the pork tenderloin with mustard seeds, greens, and funeral potatoes. I didn’t even give the pork a chance to melt in my mouth, but my wife will attest that it does! Delicious. I’d recommend not letting your eyes be bigger than your stomach here, a full course meal for two means you’ll both be walking out with a take-out box after dinner.

What a delicious treat! Communal Restaurant is a tasteful experience. Please note that the menu is seasonal and changes. My wife and I ordered a starter, protein, starch and vegetable plate and shared it. It was a lot of food. We have the bao bungalows that was my favorite thing. Flank Steak, finger potatoes and asparagus. Everything was delicious. The service was great and it was a wonderful experience.
