We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, with some dishes being particularly outstanding. However, we found that the menu options were somewhat limited. As a group of four people who enjoy sharing dishes, we had some difficulty finding a fourth entree to order, so we ended up choosing the pasta Primavera. The wine list was a bit disappointing, with mediocre choices that were also quite overpriced. While I understand that a markup of three times the retail price is common, I would appreciate seeing some higher-end options available at a closer to 2x markup. Personally, I would be more inclined to purchase a $40-50 bottle of wine if it were priced around $10...
We took my cousins here years ago when she was visiting from California and she's here again and this was her ONE request, to eat here again! She LOVED IT. As did we, of course! Everything from top to bottom was absolutely perfect, Santosh the owner coming to say hi and catching up showing us such gratitude for coming and making us feel so special with kind and delicious surprises, the service, the food, the mangers, the atmosphere-everything! We got a chance to catch up with another as we throughly enjoy our 3 course tasting meal! We were all so impressed, as if we weren't already impressed! We will keep supporting this amazing place! They truly made our night and much more!!
We arrived at 5:00, the restaurant closed after lunch/ brunch at 2:00 and reopened at 4:00 for dinner. It was sparse of diners, but the server took so long to greet us, so we went to the bar to order our own drinks. When the waitress did show up, she seemed unremarkably aware that we had to go to the bar ourselves. Once that kerfuffle had passed, the food order was expedient and delicious. We ordered that gastronomic burger with Sriracha fries (amazing) and the shrimp and grits. Food A+, service C. We may repeat if we're in the area, but I'm not sure I would go out of my way to revisit. As a side note, their chocolate counter is beyond delicious.
Service was fine, food was an issue though. The sweet and sour cauliflower and harissa chicken sizzler were both big misses for us. The campanelle pasta was good, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to be out $120 for meh food overall. The service was top tier and their attention to detail was fabulous. The meals were delicious and of course their deserts were very good and presentation was excellent. Top. Notch. Tooooooop Notch! This is a chocolatier restaurant. Even the sauce on the steak is chocolate inspired. It's extremely delicious. You will leave happy . This was our first visit to this restaurant. It is charming and we were seated quickly, even without a reservation. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend dining here.
Consistency and quality. Fantastic experience every time we visit. Steak cooked properly and the General Tsos Cauliflower is fantastic
