I 've always admired this bakery from the outside but never had the opportunity to come in here until recently. I was so impressed that I pre ordered 2 whole pie tarts from this place for the holidays! Upon first entering, I feel like this place gives the ambiance of a fufu French bakery so pretty to look at and every sweet pastry looks too good to be devoured! Well, guess what, it looks good AND it tastes the way it looks DEVINE! Let 's just say I 'm not a fan of anything pecan, or even like pecan pie. Then I had the taste of their bourbon pecan tart with chantilly and I was like, 'What the heck did I just bite into, HEAVEN? ' It made me a convert to actually like/love Pecan Pie! But I know...
This restaurant is really fantastic. Their desserts are on par with what you would see on those dessert competition shows on Netflix. It was not as expensive as I expected it to be. The texture of their ice creams is truly elevated to another level. The restaurant offers dine-in service and it is a fun atmosphere to be in. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and they guided us towards the best tasting options. Spoiler alert: the passion lime cheesecake was the standout dish!
I haven't had desserts this good in a while. I've dined at some high-end restaurants and these desserts are even better. The gelato was amazing and the chocolate desserts were rich and delicious. The cafe is cozy with plenty of seating and they offer complimentary flavored water. My only complaint is that the owner could probably charge more for the desserts because they seem undervalued. It might sound odd to say, but I believe these desserts are worth more than their current price.
I had a lovely experience dining at this charming restaurant. My friends and I had a great girls' night out and enjoyed the incredible desserts. The ambiance was perfect for a night out in downtown Provo. I recommend grabbing dinner here, then take a stroll to the nearby Pioneer Bookstore for a perfect evening.
