I ordered two cheesesteaks, one with fried onions and one without. I requested lettuce and tomato on the side, but they ended up putting everything on the sandwiches. They offered to let me return for new ones, but I live 35 minutes away and only drive by the place on my way home from work. I didn't open the sandwiches until I was relaxing at home a couple of hours later. At midnight, I wasn't about to drive back for new sandwiches. I was told to either keep them until tomorrow or come back for replacements. Now, I have no dinner tonight because I don't want to waste over an hour driving back. I have work in the morning and I won’t be passing by until Wednesday. I used to frequent this place...
I absolutely love this place! They not only serve food and have a bar, but they also offer packaged goods and entertainment options like a ski ball and pinball machine. They've recently introduced karaoke on Saturday nights, which is a lot of fun! Additionally, the adjoining restaurant keeps the kitchen open late—almost as late as the bar—making it the only spot in the area that serves food at that hour. The food is consistently delicious, the bartenders are wonderful, and the regulars are some of the most genuine, friendly, and fun people you'll ever meet. Overall, it's the best local dive you could ask for!
I wish I could give this bar zero stars. I tried to join my girlfriend and her friends for karaoke, all of whom are over 21, but we were refused entry. The security staff didn’t believe their IDs were real, even though one was from someone who is 22. What kind of bar doesn’t even have a scanner? It’s funny in a frustrating way that the guy couldn’t tell a real ID from a fake when I know for sure he let in some fakes just before I got there.
I tried to call to place an order for pick up, because I'm moving. The lady that answered told me I had the wrong side, that I had the bar side. She quickly gave me the number and when I asked for a second to grab something to write it. She said okay andhung up the phone. I'm new to this area and will NEVER attempt to eat here again. I wouldn't give this place a 1 star.

I absolutely love this place! They have late hours and serve great bar food. One unique feature is that there’s a pizza place right next door that connects to the Tavern. You can order pizza right from the bar, and there’s even an internal door linking the two! They operate on the same late hours, which is fantastic. What a great spot!
Love this place. Very late hours, good bar food, and something special: there's a a pizza place next door connected to the Tavern not only can you order pizza from the bar, there's a door between them inside! They have the same hours, too andthose hours really are very late. Sweet.
Traci is the best bartender! She’s the main reason my husband and I keep coming back to this place on our trips to Atlantic City. This corner tavern is a true gem and definitely worth a visit.
