The Cottage Restaurant

Saw a tiny ad, and was hooked on the word homemade. They have fresh baked goods, soups, bakery items, perogies, cabbage rolls, breakfasts, etc. The servings were HUGE, and prices very reasonable. The food was terrific and memorable. The only negative is that it is privately owned, so they have limited opening hours, something like 9am to 4pm. Located downtown, and worth finding it!

Love it here, every time I come to visit my freinds here in Cranbrook they take me here. The bread is amazing on everything, home made buns too. Everything taste like it was cooked with love by a very caring granny, and the atmosphere of the small space feels like I'm at granmas house too. And awsome milkshakes if your in Cranbrook don't pass them by!

Charming small restaurant with unique decorations. We visited for breakfast and the food was fantastic. The cinnamon buns were especially delicious and large enough to share between two people. And who can resist freshly baked bread like grandma used to make! Overall, a wonderful experience with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere.

The service was excellent and the portions of food were delicious and huge. My only complaint is that my breakfast sandwich was so large it barely fit in the container. There is artwork for sale on the walls, providing a pleasant aesthetic while waiting for your meal which arrives promptly. I am excited to return! Reserva una mesa ahora

I traveled up to Cranbrook to purchase a vehicle from Spring Honda. While I was waiting for it to get detailed I was recommended to go for lunch here by the staff at Spring Honda. And I'm so glad I did.. the service was excellent and the food was amazing. Love supporting little local restaurants when I travel!

The atmosphere was lovely, but the Reuben sandwich was a bit dry. However, the apple pecan crisp with ice cream was outstanding. The borscht soup was amazing, especially when enjoyed with sour cream. The service was a bit slow due to the lunch rush.

OMG this is a local secret. There is so much fast food in Cranbrook, this homemade cooking is greatly appreciated by the locals. The food was so tasty and authentic. Highly recommended.

We tried this for breakfast, the decor is fun, lots to look at. The food was average and quite bland. It has potential but they need to step it up just a bit.
