The Counting House

Absolutely superb beer garden, great outdoor seating. Staff extremely helpful at the beginning, unfortunately the service dwindled towards the end of our visit, even found it hard to pay and had to seek out a till. Two kitchen's operating with two menu's, we were notified that food may arrive at different times, but after 30 minutes of some of the party finishing main course's, some had still not been served.

visited Saturday afternoon, 9 of us, including a baby. all enjoyed our meal, as well as the atmosphere and service. my pork chop was as tasty as my dessert was from Banoffee-Pie, in the house made I am sure. are they ready to wait tho, it is not a fast turnaround....always preferred for me, but when the meals were made by scratches. look forward to the return!

Absolutely in love with this gem! It is a bit away from the seaside, so not that crowded when we were there. It has a lovely spacious beer garden, fresh food and cold drinks. What more can you possibly ask for? : Happy we found it.

beautiful pub and very dog friendly they brought out a darm of water for our dog before our order: only for one dessert broke in, but the baked cake was fantastic! the cheesecake portion was huge and very rich, but also delicious

beautiful burger was also massive, beautiful staff! can't do enough for them, nothing was too much annoyed. will be back soon!
