The Counting House

This is a large building a banking hall that is beautiful. Although it looks attractive it is full of hard services and the accoustics are dreadful. The food is good and, of course, the Fullers beer is excellent but the evening was ruined because you have to shout to be heard. We (a party of 4) could only speak (loudly) to the person next to us. Communication accross the table was impossible. We had asked for a quiet table!

I have been waiting for over a year to fetch my teenage son, so he could try the Yorkshire pudding and dipping gravy and they did not disappoint! Delicious and just what the doctor ordered. Unfortunately the triple cooked chips are rubbish, and I think they refer to them as triple cooked because of how many times they’ve been re fried. Don’t order them if you respect a good chip!

The pub appeared impressive in the photos, but our experience on Monday evening around 9pm was disappointing. The pints were fine, but the service was lackluster. The bartender seemed disinterested and treating us like a burden. We decided to finish our drinks and go elsewhere. We probably won't be returning anytime soon.

This is probably the best pub in the area. The service is fast and friendly, even when the pub is busy. I picked this place for its wide variety of beers and because it has accessible toilets, which is rare in the City. I hosted a drinks party here for 25 guests, and everyone loved it. We had a wonderful evening in the Angel room celebrating my wife's birthday. The service was impeccable and the room was of high quality. The pricing was very competitive and we will certainly be staying again on our next trip to London.

Always busy here during lunch or the evenings so it has a great vibe. The staff are helpful and friendly and the service is always good. Unlike other pubs, they staff it properly so you never have to wait too long to be served

A historic pub located near Bank Station with a cozy interior perfect for a quiet conversation or post-work drinks with a colleague. They offer a great selection of beer and wine to enjoy while unwinding after a long day.

Stayed here for a few nights. Pub was closed as being refurbished. Easy check-in. Staff friendly. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Free water, coffee, biscuits etc. WiFi good. Good location in the heart of The City. Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing breakfast, wonderful decor and wonderful stay at The Counting House. Lovely quiet rooms with comfy king size bed. Super clean room and bathroom. Will definitely come back to stay.

Great pub with a great vibe. There was a live band as well. The only thing that I will say is that they don't have a large variety of drinks.
