When dining with larger groups, it's always wise to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. While I understand the woman was frustrated, her behavior was unfair and reminiscent of a spoiled child. I'm certain that if she had been courteous, the restaurant would have found a way to accommodate her party a little later. This is just my observation, as I feel it's unjust to leave negative reviews for situations that are out of anyone's control. Absolutely amazing cafe very welcoming and polite staff members who are managed by lovely owners. They always have the time to speak and answer questions, getting to know their regulars. Food is freshly made by a very talented cook. Can get busy but always accommodate and aim to please all their customers, defo worth booking ahead if you are coming with a big group to avoid disappointment. Very highly recommended we visit every half-term/summer holidays as a treat for the kids, breakfast with great grandad who is a regular we absolutely love it here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Visited today with Family, booking is advisable. Very popular!!!! We had amazing food, sausages mash, stacked burger , homemade pie with fresh veg and mash lots on the menu. All staff pleasant, friendly and welcoming ! Will definitely be returning! Despite not having a reservation, we were offered a great table : all the employees are extremely nice and accommodating. We all felt very comfortable. We were there for breakfast and it tasted very good. Great price-performance ratio. Visited a few times now and each time have been disappointed. I have noticed that the workers are leaving reviews themselves after they receive negative feedback. If this is so embarrassing for them that they’re leaving their own reviews, why not change? Incredibly rude owner who had obviously overbooked his restaurant and under catered; for over an hour I watched him turn people away in increasingly rude and aggressive ways.
