Beautiful riverside location to eat Sunday brunch outside. We sat in the shade under the beautiful old sycamore trees on the terrace with a front row seat to the Conestoga River. We saw fish jumping out of the water to catch their insect food and sing all kinds of birds and fly the waterway. The food was great! The hash browns were well made and with some onion. You smoke salmon Florentino eggs Benedict was also very good. My only regret is that I had only one piece of toast to eat honey butter with the house that was far too good. What a nice little place. We sat outside, where there was a fairly large patio and a most lovely view of the river. We had the Tomato Mozzarella Omelette, the Eggs Benedict I (with bacon instead of ham , and the Chocolate Chip Pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious. I do not often have pancakes I simply fall in love with, but these definitely made the cut. The omelette was amazing, even though the cheese was not QUITE as gooey as iy could have been. We had such an amazing night....we brought my mom and dad out to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had a table for 4 and came directly in and had to sit in front of the fireplace (a special request we had). Our waitress was unpaid. We had Elk appetizer that was a perfect start. Our meals were amazing and a great size, most of us did the lit farewell so that we could also eat dessert. One of the owners took the time to tell us the history of the building... something we all enjoyed and were curious. Great...big service...Mussel were cooked for perfection. Ask for a recommendation and expect nothing less than wow! I see reviews about slow turning over...30-50 minutes for an appetizer... good if you go quick food to McDonald's... This is a full service restaurant with great service and recommendations... but above all the experience was fantastic, I would wait an hour for an appetizer hands down. Spend time and appreciate the water view. Thank you for a great evening on our 7th anniversary.

Nice view on the patio. Rain threatened but the staff was proactive by not waiting for it to rain before moving us inside. One of the few places I've been to with smoked duck on the menu and it was bangin! My wife went with the scallops. As seafood lovers from MD we're usually underwhelmed by seafood in the area. Not here. Biggest scallops we've ever seen are at The Waterfront. Great meal, great patio, good service. Definitely coming back and would recommend to friends.
A true hidden gem... making a last-minute reservation while in the area turned out to be a delightful experience. The chicken shepherd's pie and crab cake Wellington, both small plate specialties, were outstanding. And where else can you find waiters offering anchovies on a Caesar salad! Many places can't even spell the word correctly. Thankfully, we stumbled upon this place... we will definitely be back.

The chicken shepherd pie and the crab cake wellington, both small plate specials, were amazing. And to top it off, the waitress even offered anchovies on the Caesar salad, which is a rare find at most restaurants. We enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be returning.
Second time here and everyone in our party of 5 rave over each of their appetizers and meals. Very well prepared food and the flavors had my senses feeling quite satisfied. Our server was pleasant and very pleasant. Really, one of the top restaurants in Lancaster and I don't give 5 stars easy. Thanks for a great evening!

Great dinner last night with my wife. Nice atmosphere and good food. We sat by the fireplace. Service was NOT slow--no sure what the other reviewers we talking about. Highly recommended.
Excellent coffee and service, and a nice outside seating area under umbrellas.
