The Coy Carp - Reserva de mesa

This has to be one of my favourite Canal side pubs with lots of history in the surrounding area lovely walks by the canal. After many years (10 coming here I'd through I'll finally leave a comment Every time I'm passing bye on my Canal boat I always try and moore up near by for my 2 weeks stay pop in and see Martin and his team. What's to like? A Great location,A nice garden with lots of tables. Free o2 WiFi. A good selection of cask ale Gin,Whiskey cocktails available. Also Tea,coffee for the non drinkers soft drinks for the kids. Doggy beer (water is available for your pooches and well behaved dogs can have a doggy treat. Ask the staff. Muddy paws are welcome at the bar but not in the rest...

Really unfortunate actually. Booked a table for my wife's birthday, she received an email that she would get a bottle of Prosecco, because it was her birthday. Got there, gave the qr code, said we will take it at the end of the meal. At the end of the meal, they said they had no bottles at all (they only had an open bottle left! . So after all that, no Prosecco! I like the place, and we have been there a few times, but don't promise something you cannot deliver on!

It was the first time we had visited since the start of Covid. We were welcomed on arrival and were shown to a nice table in a little side area. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was enjoyable. We will certainly go back again soon

Another great meal we used the 50% offer and that made it even better. The team is also very good very polite and very welcoming. Top stuff!
