The Crab Galley (odenton Location)

I went there today (4 July) before I put into an order for a bush of crabs and was told to come back 11:45 because they did not begin to cook until 11 a.m. when they opened. I came at 11:45 and was told to wait 10 minutes because they were not ready. I go back after 15 minutes, paid my $295 and got the box. The box was warm and I called back immediately, was told that they were sitting and was probably ready when I arrived at 11:45. I come back home, which is in DC, just to have a bush of chilled crabs. So disappointing! Old crabs and not given an option as if I buy them or not. Never again! All I can say is now not the time for bad business. Word of mouth is everything.

You have me for the last time! I ordered a dozen middle men. So dissatisfied when I poured the crabs out of my pocket, only the top 2-3 crabs had seasoned on it, the rest was Plan Jane! The crabs had no taste, ever! All my crabs were as light as a feather and 4 of them were not edible at all! Two of them smell like ammonia and two of them were beyond Mush! I've been buying crabs from them for over 7 years. The first two years were great, but I don't know what happened after that. Today sealed the agreement for me, I am completely done with this place! $72 from my hard earned money down the drain! I tipped smdh.

Called in an order 3 hours in advance of pickup. Came at time of pickup and order was not ready for an additional 35 minutes. On top of that ordered oysters as part of my order and only one popped. When we popped the others they smelled like rancid fish. Definitely did not eat. Fried Shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. Asked for steamed shrimp to be steamed without old bay and old bay on side. Shrimp was doused in old bay during cook and received non on side. Rock fish was soggy. Have been customer for 10 years and will not be returning.

Really disappointing experience. I have a dozen crabs to take off. Only 5 of them were good, the rest were muddy and 2 were lazy. Only the upper 2 crabs had both claws, the rest had only 1 and there were no loose on the bottom of the bag. A real waste of money. I can only say positively that the season was good.

Crab Galley crabs were fantastic, not cooked, not dried, they were hot and the box damped my truck windows. The crabs were very well seasoned, I bought a bushel of Jumbo $500.00 the box was filled up and the crabs were fat and sweet. I'm back, Crab Galley can be your place.
