I was sooooooo wanting this place to be great; it was ok. Please read in full, my family and I might be (as she says) German food snobs, but I am from Berlin and with that said have had great German food in many places (in the US). We were told about this spot by my dad 's neighbors and they warned us that it was ok , but I 'll never pass up a chance to try german cuisine and Bier! So they 're are several things here to note, they have a weird schedule (closed from 3:30-4:30 on Saturdays and maybe others) for a place this seemingly slow, why turn anyone away? UPDATE After I posted my last review the owner contacted me for details and offered to cook for me personally. My wife and I went for lunch and the food was completely different! So good and flavorful. He confirmed our suspicions that the kitchen staff was overwhelmed and executed the food poorly. He truly cares about his customers and for that we will definitely be returning.I don’t like leaving bad reviews unless it’s really bad. The food was just not great at all. I had high hopes for this place but all around barely edible. I don’t even know where to begin.
