Stopped by on holiday for tea ordered a double fish cockles. Was told they didn't do cockles anymore no problem, I just had the double fish. The staff were not very pleasant I was overcharged. Was meant to be £11 and got charged £13.50. I never thought to question as the staff member was being rude and I just wanted to eat get home. Only realised afterwards that I was charged for the cockles which they didn't have. Felt like I was being charged a tourist tax as they were pleasant with the locals that came in. I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was fantastic, and I enjoyed the amazing double fish and chips, while my wife had chicken nuggets and a single fish. All of this for just £20.13! We will definitely return next year when we're back in the area on holiday. A big thank you to the staff – I left a £2 tip for the great service. It was the perfect meal we needed before our 400-mile round trip back to Fife on the East Coast of Scotland. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
No organisation at all! People coming in and ordering with no clue what order or anything. Someone come I. To order a fish and chips and came in at 6pm and finally left at 6:45 with his portion of fish and chips, even tho I counted 6 cooked fish sitting waiting. Not great at all, the only way this place I. Is business is due to the fact the town has no options available. Service: Take out
Nothing to write home about it looked good with a nice portion of fish but dig into it try and find the fish it was so thin that if it could be put on a roll Andrex could have produced it. It was buried in greasy batter. The chips were reheated chips that were very dry on the plus side. The mushy peas were good and moist, Wheelchair accessibility: No step in Service: Take out

I had a wonderful fish dinner here. The chips were freshly cooked and delicious. The haddock was excellent, and the batter was just right. Service was for takeout. I highly recommend the fish and chips!
