December 2025 We had our wedding here the other day and it was beautiful but here are the problems we experienced: • Food was served to the wrong guests, including to the bride and groom. • Our surname was spelled incorrectly on the place cards. • The bride’s canapés, which we were told would be kept aside, were thrown away. • The father of the bride was announced with the wrong name. • The bride repeatedly had to leave the room to find staff because there was no one consistently available to help. • The PowerPoint was played with “battery low” warnings showing, and wasn’t set to loop. • Our Mr Mrs game wasn’t announced. • Guests weren’t told about our personalised word searches that we’d ar...
We got married at the Croft. We chose the Croft because of the beautiful aesthetics and there's so much more to it. The whole experience was so easy and straight-forward. You can really tell this is a wedding venue that knows that it's doing. The booking process was super easy. The planning process too. And the whole day ran increadible smoothly. I love how organised everyone is and how willing they are to make your wedding be the wedding you want. They put out all our decor on the day too! Could not fault it and we're so happy we got to get married in this beautiful venue. Victoria and I were married at The Croft Hotel on 2 October 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The venue is absolutely beautiful — full of charm and character — and the staff went above and beyond to make everything seamless. From the ceremony to the reception, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. Our guests are still talking about the amazing food and warm atmosphere. We truly can’t recommend The Croft Hotel highly enough as a wedding venue — it was everything we dreamed of and more.
2 night stay for a family wedding. My room was basic though clean tidy enough. The luxury rooms, including the bridal honeymoon suites were stunning. The location is beautiful, as is the hotel itself. Had a very personal feel the staff were very attentive. The staff who covered the wedding reception were amazing certainly helped make the day very special. Would highly recommend.

A big massive thank you to Jenna, Jamie, Amy, Rob and Nathan along with all the fantastic team at The Croft, you gave my husband and I a fairytale day for our wedding at The Croft. It's hard to put into words how much of a great team you are and why this venue is 5 star, however magical comes to mind. Thank you for the most amazing wonderful day, dreams really do come true
I was at a family wedding recently at this venue, absolutely beautiful location. The staff was amazing especially the red hair girl on the bar! She had a truly warm attitude and anything we asked of her never seemed like an issue. Couldn't catch her name but I still wanted to let it know. Service was amazing, made my experience even better.
Working with The Croft Hotel as a vendor is always a positive experience everytime we go. From a logistical standpoint, they are one of the most professional and well-run spaces in the industry. We have done numerous jobs here from wedding styling, content creating, audio guestbook and photobooths
Popped in after shopping on Saturday for a drink. A menu to be proud of, best we have seen for a long time. Central log fire, just a good place to be. Check it out

Lovely building with staff who are passionate about what they are doing. Was there for my sisters wedding and it was truly amazing. Cannot praise them enough.
Had a wedding here and the staff were absolutely fantastic, rooms lovely and clean and food was great too
