We had a complimentary room for free because of a previous bad visit back in August 2020. Because of covid lockdown we had to move it from Feb 21 to May 21. Then from May 21 to this August. What we didn't know until arrival was that the hotel manager had taken it over and the hotel/restaurant has changed brands (I think pub chains) however they still honoured our booking which I think was super because in theory they didn't need to do this. Not only were we upgraded to a super king room... as our previous visit was a double room... but we were also given a bottle of complimentary prosecco. Amazing! All staff super friendly and approachable. We had lunch here as well, a Burger and the footlon...
We had fantastic dinners on Monday Sept 4th. Some pubs not serving food on Monday night, so very happy to find a place. Portions were the perfect size and the prices reasonable. Young girl was working the bar/floor on her own but was very pleasant, professional and did everything with a smile. A pity the floors were so sticky I had to clean my shoes when I got home!
beautiful real traditional pub! great drinks and prices. buzzy atmosphere with sport on many great tvs for those who want it. but the best of all the best burger and chips of all time! very, very dog friendly with free tasty and water dishes and super friendly staff. highly recommended.
Had a lovely time here with friends. Special mention to our waiter Bob who couldn’t do enough for us and was super friendly. The food is nice and the speed of service was great! Visited twice and will definitely visit again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, even though the kitchen was closed when we arrived, they still made us a meal each. The room is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Visiting the Cross Keys is always a delight. The staff and facilities are fantastic, and they always greet us warmly, even with our energetic and unpredictable pets in tow.
a beautiful small family hotel in the middle of knutsford. our room was nice, clean and warm. we were very well sought by the very friendly staff, nothing too much annoyed.
The owners and staff are extremely helpful and are managing to keep things running smoothly during this challenging time.
