"Just what we were looking for! Met family and stayed here prior to a wedding. Received a warm welcome to this lovely old hotel. Enjoyed a very nice dinner too"

We stayed here for one night. Its convenient for snetterton and provided a lovely homely feel after a busy day at the track. We had a family room and there was loads of space which was lovely. We had a fully equipped kitchen , dining area, settee and 2 beds downstairs and then a separate bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It's a little dated but was very spacious and well equipped and to be honest charmingly old fashioned. The village is very pretty and quiet but there was a fish and chip shop and convenience store just down the road, I wish I had got up a little earlier to explore further afield but had slept too well ! We had breakfast in the morning which was nice, good choice of good and fre...
We only stayed for one night, using the location as a starting point to explore the area, and our experience was fantastic. The room was very spacious and well-equipped, with electrical outlets conveniently placed throughout. The room also had a well-equipped kitchen area, which was a pleasant surprise. We had dinner at the restaurant and the meals were delicious, with generous portions that we couldn't finish. Breakfast was also excellent. All the staff we encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful. Other larger hotels could learn a thing or two from this place on how things should be done!
The last time we had visited was about 3 years ago. The reason we had left it so long was because, on that occasion, we found the staff to be unfriendly, and the food not great. As some time had elapsed, we decided to give it another go and went with an open mind. This time things were very different. The staff were friendly and mostly attentive (we had to walk downstairs to pay the bill as they seemed to have forgotten us). The food was excellent, both in quality and quantity. So based on this experience, we will be back. Thank you.
Somewhat disappointed. Not from the area but fancied trying somewhere that isn't in thetford. The initial impression was poor. Locals pub with nobody to greet you. Eventually shown upstairs by a nervous young man. Thankfully another girl was looking after us who was very good. Food was decent enough but wouldn't return. Better food for the price elsewhere Reserva una mesa ahora
We visited for a light lunch for four people. Living in north Norfolk we find many of the pubs there overpriced and over extended. Thank goodness that the Crown still provides excellent traditional English pub food in bars which though nicely looked after still...
