Tried here at the last minute when tying to get a Sunday roast and everywhere else was fully booked. The outside of the pub isn’t very appealing or inviting and I probably wouldn’t have gone in if I hadn’t read some good reviews beforehand. Once inside though, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were in a hurry as it was Halloween and the children wanted to go out trick or treating, so we only had a main course, but it was a great roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, parsnips etc. Nice big portion, well presented and delicious. They had also made a great effort with the Halloween decorations and gave out sweets to the children too. Would definitely return.
celebrated my baby shower in this pub today and had the most amazing time. it is the perfect place for a private party, the conservatory is a large spacious and bright room with a cozy feeling to it. eating was absolutely delicious and good value for money. the owner dave is very friendly and courteous, nothing was too much annoyed. it would definitely recommend to rent this place for a special occasion and we will definitely return.
The food at this restaurant was excellent and priced well. The service was good and efficient, with the owner recommending delicious dishes. The live DJ played fantastic music, creating a fun atmosphere. The locals were friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. We had such a great time that we have already booked to return. Highly recommend this place.
Greeted immediately by a lovely lady called Olivia who showed us to our table. Took our drinks order then left us for a few minutes to allow us to look at menu. We all had Roast dinners. Food and service was excellent then the manager popped over to say hello Will definitely be back Great atmosphere in a local pub. Great outside space as well

Good value food, was nice to have a choice of veggie items on the menu. Wine was delicious! Our waiter was very friendly and eager to please, so very refreshing. The decor is lovely with all the lights and different areas to sit, even had a little heater above each table on the wall which you can turn on and off yourself as needed.
This charming pub has a large separate dining section and a spacious outdoor area. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again.
