Very warm, comfortable pub. Out of 16 of us not one person was disappointed with any part of their meal. Looking at the menu, you may think it is expensive, but you get your moneys worth, very tasty food and generous portions. Only one negative..please make your chicken caeser salad more exciting with more ingredients. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub and toilets were exceptional clean and tidy. The Crown is a fantastic traditional pub restaurant. We visited for dinner and had a variety of dishes including the roast beef, fish chips and Bangers Mash. The food was absolutely delicious and of great quality and quantity. Compliments to the chef and waiting staff. The service was also very good and the restaurant area had a wonderful atmosphere along with the charm of such a beautiful old building. Personally I thought the quality of the food was excellent, but the size of the pie and the portion of mash/veg could have been slightly larger for the price. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
