This review is for the restaurant only and I really do not understand where the positive mentions come from. The service is truly good and the waitress was ever so nice, but the food is really mediocre. We had the burgers and they were a real disappointment. If something is badly cooked you can send the course out and ask for something else, but this… The bread obviously came from a plastic bag at Tescos and the meat probably from the same place. It was sturdy and tasted just about nothing. The portion is big but the satisfaction is not. For a £16 burger I would expect so much more.
My family and I went for dinner on a Saturday evening and although the pub was very busy we were served our drinks and food in good time. The Steak and Ale Pie is lovely with a huge portion, the gravey to go with it is fantastic. I would highly recommend this pub.
Nice locals pub in the middle of Pateley Bridge. Service friendly enough and good choice of drinks. Didn’t order food, but what we saw others eating looked to be good hearty pub food.

Went her for lunch with close friends, great meal, good service and reasonable price. Good selection of food also. Food did not take long to arrive. Looking forward to going back.

Popped in for a drink. Had a look at the menu. Decided to have something to eat and was not disappointed. Friendly staff and food was cooked to perfection.
Very enjoyable Sunday Lunch. Great choice of roasts and sides. Service was exemplary and it was excellent value for a lovely afternoon out. Recommended.
