We had a festive Christmas lunch today, the bar was beautifully decorated and a big tree, the table was beautifully decorated with crackers and serviettes, the food was out of this world, thank you to the chef, Rob and John served us and the bar man were all very helpful, thank you. Nothing was too much trouble, and we are going to recommend them to all of our friends, book here you will be as pleased as we all were everything was perfect. thank you to a great team. Always excellent. The service is wonderful and Rob always does a fantastic job. The food is delicious and the beer selection is great. This was my second visit this week and every time I come, the lovely landlord John is always willing to chat about football and is very welcoming. The staff is great and the overall atmosphere of the place is fantastic. I highly recommend coming here to be taken care of. I always enjoy this place and it never disappoints me.

Group of approx 7 children, running around opening closing the side door which we were seated right next to. They ignored our polite request to leave the door closed. Their parents caters took no notice the staff behind the bar didn’t take appropriate action either. Lovely evening with super food, drink service spoiled by this intrusion. I love children but these were rude unruly. Disappointed.

Lovely Sunday lunch with our friends. Food was spot on. It was our friend 's first time out after being in hospital for 11 weeks and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. We had a lovely time and a special mention to Nathan who was really kind and attentive and catered to all our needs. Thank you so much and as Arnie says 'we 'll be back '.!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Staff were great as always and Sophie was excellent and incredibly helpful to us on the night. Food was lovely as it always is and even though it was busy nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially Sophie.

Booked a table on spec after a busy day and had a lovely meal. The specials menu was really tempting and great to see. Very enjoyable night and staff were amazing as always despite being very busy. Offer on main meals is very good value for money too.

My friend and I visit The Crown frequently. We always have a good experience. Food and wine is good and affordable- a great mid-week treat! Special shout out to Sophie who is always friendly and attentive.

I had a very pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was lovely and the service was excellent. I couldn't find any faults and will definitely be coming back soon.

I went for lunch on Saturday and was greeted warmly in a lovely atmosphere. I ordered the cod and chips, which was hands down the best I've ever had.

The curry was like **** and the toilets were terrible you have lost a very good customer was very disappointed
