Table booked for a Monday lunchtime and two friends and I were looking forward to a nice lunch. We recieved a warm welcome from the waitress and were shown to our table. We were surprised to see that only abou tables were in use...as its usually busy. We ordered our drinks and were told that there were several items on the menu that weren't available so we gave our orders and settled down for a good natter! After minutes, nothing had arrived and no one had been over to tell us what was going on. We stumbled into this pub when we were visiting for the weekend just to have quick drink in between exploring and planning for our next couple days. It’s was on Sunday so people were coming in for their Sunday roast with friends and family. We...weren’t planning to stay for food but we couldn’t resist as the roasts coming out looked amazing and it didn’t let us down when we decided to have some ourselves. I personally am not a huge fan of roasts (unpopular opinion I know) but I was really impressed and was definitely the best I’ve had from a restaurant/pub. We popped in on a busy Sunday, not expecting to get a table but so grateful that we did. What a lovely surprise this pub is. Great atmosphere, brilliant service, lovely Cornish Cider and the best roast dinner I’ve had out in ages! Well done...to the chef, clearly believes in really well cooked, good quality ingredients. The selection of vegetables was incredible, the beef was to die for and the Yorkshire pudding was proper! There is absolutely nothing to fault about this pub, we will definitely be visiting next time we go to Bath! I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you to all of the staff that make this pub so good.
Had drinks in here on consecutive nights it was that good. Great outdoor seating area. Crystal clear real ales served by a friendly team. Very photogenic setting in a little square. Highly recomended.

We visited for the second time and it didn't disapoint.We had a lovely lunch which was again very good .The pub is so friendly and comfortable felt so at home.We will b back again for sure.

Great food, great service. Amelia was great and looked after us very nicely. We didn’t have a table booked but we’re accommodated which was great as they seemed to be busy.
Went in here by pure chance and pleased that we did. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was wonderful and there was a great atmosphere.
