What a great find. This place has a wonderful menu that reflects southern and Cajun cuisines. We ordered the half fried chicken with two sides: man cheese and collards. Wow! That was done if the most delicious fried chicken ever. The Mac cheese was made of small shell pasta with a variety of cheeses. Perfection. The collards were perfectly cooked with bits of ham in a slightly sweet brine. We also ordered the shrimp and cheesy grits with andouille sausage. The flavor was fantastic but the shrimp were a bit over cooked. The grits themselves were well seasoned and very cheesy. Its a tough dish to get perfectly right. The service was friendly and thoughtful. We will be back to try the fried green tomatoes and jambalaya and still might get the fried chicken!
