The Curry Grove - Reserva de mesa

I visited for lunch. Food is all pre-made and they just scoop out what you want from various plastic containers that you can choose from and warm it up. There was a reasonable choice of dishes to choose for lunch. The prices were average. The food was tasty enough but I would have preferred freshly prepared meals. There was no wait staff. You just order from the counter and pay, and they give you the meal when it is warmed. You can then dine in at plastic tables and chairs or take away as you desire. No frills here. I was told that dosa is offered on occasion but it was not available when I visited.

Sri Lankan food takes a long time to prepare and isn't fast food. The food at this place is classic and full of authentic flavours of Sri Lanka. The short-eats are fresh but run out quickly so get there before 2pm if you want to try a variety. You can also pre-order takeaway meals for pick up. Prices are reasonable and service friendly but we recommend takeaway as the restaurant is not that nice to eat in - most locals seem to know this. We thoroughly enjoyed the food at this place and would go back again.

Had a chance to take away some delicious food from this restaurant. Just a small restaurant, only able to seat about 8 people for dine-in. Took the masala rice with 2 veg sides (mushroom masala and the brinjal paratal - the absolute best brinjal ever) with chicken curry. The rice was aromatic, fragrant and fresh. The veggie side were fantastic and finally the curry - it was an unimaginable great taste of authetic Sri Lankan curry. It was an overall fantastic experience.

I was introduced to this place by a friend who praised their lump rice all the time. I have tried their lump rice which enough for 2 people and other take away rice and curries. Have to say I was never disappointed with their food. Wish they opened on Sundays as well and expand the shop a little bit. The shop is so small and always packed with people. The portion sizes of the rice and curries varied depending on who served us. A must try if you love Srilankan food. Reserva una mesa ahora

The range of curries change regularly as do the condiments served on the side. This is actually Sri Lankan food if I'm not mistaken and the speciality that goes on top of the meals is the coconut sambar (orange shown on picture).I hang out for this place and drive at least 40km to come here when I have time.

Fantastic quality food at very affordable prices. If you want great Sri Lankan cuisine, this will be the place to go to. They have take away options from pan rolls to rice & curry. Also they have Elephant House Ginger Beer and Friday nights you can have hoppers :)

The hoppers sold here only on certain days are out of this world Golden and cook to perfection So yummy They were so Morrish and the prices were very economical Highlight is definitively the hoppers

I purchase takeaway food all the time from this place. Their rice & curry and also their short eats excellent. Would recommend anytime.

Purchase takeaway from here quite often and there Rolls and Buns and amazing would recommend for an authentic Sri Lankan feed
