If you're sitting outside the location can be a little noisy, as it's situated just off a heavily used road. The premises are clean and well maintained and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Tea and Coffee are available as well as a range of alcoholic drinks. There is a simple bar menu providing simply presented food. A good place to stop for a break if you're driving in or through this area. Kid-friendliness: If it's a nice day there's a place for the kids to play in the garden.
Bar staff advertised a beautiful pork cob no fat, off the loin with roasties.... We had a very poor pork bap, full of fat with a singular burnt boiled potato, it wasn't even roasted, id recommend going up the road to the cross at kinver and get yourself a hearty pork and stuffing sandwich. Such a disappointment on a pub we used to use with so much potential Price per person: £1–10
This was the best pork sandwich I have ever had, despite having tried many before. The pub is great and I can't understand why it's not more popular. Even though it's not my regular spot, I would come here every night if it was. I saw another review about the pork sandwich recently, but I can only speak for myself and it was fantastic! Overall, the food was a 5 out of 5.
The service at this restaurant is excellent, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. we almost passed here, but we just saw it in time and we were very satisfied that we did. beautiful, friendly greeting and eating was great. Tuna-Toasty with one side of the right chips and nabeby had faggots, maische and inherited that were all. so delicious, nice to come in here. Thank you.
Lovely pub but no longer does food only Cobs, sausage rolls and Scotch Eggs so the Google Maps photos require updating as they are misleading. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
