Waiting staff made several mistakes without any apology or trying to rectify the issue for us and we had to leave without eating. Firstly we had to swap an espresso martini as there was more foam than there was liquid and it came back exactly the same. My partner ordered Coca Cola and the waiter brought out a corona beer. My Sunday dinner main came out stone cold and I had to ask to return it. Again the waiting staff did not apologise for this. This place is going severely downhill, I 'm sorry to say. Completely understaffed, filthy and now letting all sorts in. Went last night (Weds Jun 12) and 3 extremely loud and smelly very out of it crack enthusiasts were sat there shouting at everyone making everyone feel uncomfortable as well as a creepy male regular sat at the bar staring at women. Beer garden covered in broken glass, cigarette butts and drug residue. No glasses collected anywhere for over an hour. Nice Decent Place for Food a Great Variety of Drinks. Been going here for sometime now for drinks or dining and always enjoy our visit. Last two visits I've noticed that the service was not up to the level which it was before for example staff taking time your order or not getting around you regularly to check up if anything needed also even after paying the bill I noticed that table was not cleared for sometime. Don't know if it was because of the less staff or just in general. The venue wasn't busy either. One thing for sure was that food was once again top notch. I'd definitely keep going here and recommend others to try this gem of a place on street lane.
Atmosphere was nice for a Saturday evening but we arrived at 6.35 and weren't served mains (only 2 of us, with one person not having a starter) until 8.15pm, and one main was a steak, which was good but the veg it was served with was wrinkly over cooked and old, not what is expected for a dish costing over £30. We couldn't get the staffs attention for drinks either so ended up ordering a second drink directly from the bar as it was simply faster. Would go again for drinks but will skip the food.

Great food and Ruby was exceptionally friendly and made our experience just DELIGHTFUL! Lovely atmosphere too.
Best pub in Leeds by far!! Such great service and amazing people. Would recommend to anyone, best cocktails!

Is this the worst pub in Leeds? Probably. Gormless staff, sh1t beer, tired decor. Avoid.
