The Dixie Pig Rock Hill

For my main course, I ordered the pulled pork BBQ for $13.50, which is also available as a sandwich. It came with two sides, and I chose Black Eyed Peas, collard greens, and potato salad. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy their potato salad, so I swapped it for the white slaw, which was excellent. The peas and collards were outstanding, and this was the first time I had both served together. I love them individually, but I really enjoyed their combination. The Dixie Pig is not a large place, and you might easily overlook it without some GPS help. The main dining area has just a few bar stools, two high-top tables, and around four four-seat tables. There’s also a larger secondary dining area connected to the main restaurant through a door near the bar counter. The staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and very attentive. As for the hush puppies, they were certainly edible, but compared to the rest of the dishes, they were rather bland and flavorless. A bit of chopped jalapeño, some sugar, or really anything else could have added some much-needed flavor. That’s really my only complaint. Overall, I’d give it 4.5 stars, and I’d love to return to try...

All the reviews that raved about how good this place was, they were right on the spot. It's not much to look at from the outside, but all the magic happens on the inside. Main dishes, sides, desserts are undefeated. Services, fast and friendly. They make you feel like you are one of the regulars. I'm sure during regular lunch or dinner hours parking can be a little tough, but it is well worth the wait.

This place has the best ribs in the state! The barbecue is fantastic, and the service is both quick and friendly. It’s an unassuming BBQ joint located next to a laundromat, but everything we tried was amazing. The air conditioning struggled a bit with the hot weather, but it was manageable. Stopped by this place for a casual dinner one day while in the area. It is an unassuming food establishment but has a pretty unique menu, and I love those kinds of places! They also had so many fun sauces to try. I got the Paulie, and it definitely hit the spot. Hubby got the chopped brisket, I think. We had a good time.

Got take out while visiting the area here and the food was so good! Loved the smoked chicken and pulled pork! The cabbage was tasty as well! The hit for us was the house BBQ sauce! So good! Very friendly staff!

This is the best BBQ I've had in SC. Home cooking at its best. Great service and iced-t! Delicious meats and sides. Definitely will go back whenever we're in the area.

Delish! My 8 year tastes collared greens for the first time and declared it was Wonderful! We might go back tomorrow night.

This place never disappoints. The food is amazing! I love making a stop here when I'm in rock hill.
