The Dog House More

I love the Dog House! The fish tacos there are fantastic! The fish dinner (fried Basa with yummy hush puppies and home made coleslaw) is also amazing! Their brisket, ribs and burgers are also delicious. If you have not tried their food yet, you really have to. This is the kind of hidden gem place that Anthony Bourdain used to discover and rave about on his show. The staff and, especially, the owners, Scott and Lisa, are really friendly and nice too. I usually take the food home and put it on fancy plates, have some wine and pretend I am in a gourmet restaurant (the food is as good as some of the best restaurants I have ever been to). I feel really lucky to have such great barbecue/seafood near my home.

The dog house is a parole of Ruskin. The smells alone make the trip worth and then when you grab this rib and it falls so clean from the bone... brother, it's really a thing of beauty. And I didn't even get to taste it. If you haven't been, your BBQ life isn't complete.

Aye Mates, tis an intermediate landing should be you for a variety of smoked pleasures. Tis the Brisket Philly with white sauce, which I find so attractive today.

This place is amazing!!!! The brisket philly is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. The sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce

Different, but in a good way! Only outside dining room under shade, but food was good and very friendly service
