Soulless. Very sad to see the decline. It is an old English country pub which used to be extremely popular, full of character, punters and good food. Even the furniture was not fitting for a country pub but more like a cheap cafe. Pleasant service but oppressive decor.. It could be brilliant Service: 3 Location: 4

enjoy a wonderful evening meal in the dovecote. beautiful ambiente in the inner and beautiful rural environment outside. the staff was very friendly and the chef was very obliged. delicious food and very good value for money. highly recommended.

Excellent food, drink and service, this may be off the beaten track but I is well worth a visit.
