If you happen to be in the downtown area, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the art on the walls adds to the atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the portobello tacos with truffle fries - they were flavorful and satisfying. The tacos had a nice level of spice without the need for hot sauce, although I wished they had more avocado. Just a heads up for vegans, their house-made hot sauce contains honey, but the waitress was thoughtful enough to mention it. They also had a tempting mushroom pot pie on the daily specials menu that caught my eye.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. They offer a vegan option for every item on the menu, including burritos, tacos, burgers, salads, and more, and everything was incredibly tasty. They also had two vegan specials that day, including a grilled cheese with Miyoko’s chive and spinach that was a hit with our toddler. The friendly service, stunning photography displays, and spacious dining area created a delightful atmosphere for a meal that exceeded all expectations. I stopped by this restaurant during my 1 hour 30 minute break from jury duty and I am thrilled to have discovered this hidden gem! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, guiding me towards all the vegan options on the menu. I decided to order the portobello tacos with a side salad. The meal was delicious and lived up to the positive review left on August 31, 2021.

found the Downtowner on a Google search. We were just passing through Stockton and needed a quick lunch. Great menu full of veggie and no veggie food. It was a busy lunchtime and only one server. She was terrific. Very attentive and pleasant to everyone even though she had to have been stressed!
The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious! I ordered the Cobb salad and enjoyed every bite. The portions were generous and made with high-quality ingredients. Plus, they offer cucumber water, which I really appreciate. I'm excited to visit again soon!
