I have visited this sports bar twice. Exterior signs are difficult to see from the road which makes it easy to miss. The interior is nicely decorated with lots of tv screens to watch different sporting events. The accoustics are a bit of a problem though. All the hard surfaces plus a tin ceiling make for a very noisy restaurant. Even with very few customers, it is difficult to have a conversation due to the excessive noise.Lots of interesting beer options to choose from with a typical sports bar menu.During my first visit, I ordered a burger which was large but was burnt/overdone. It was nicely garnished but the meat was underseasoned, so overall it was a bit bland. I ordered a side of onion...
Group of us drove from Barrie and Hamilton to meet for their Sunday roast. Since there were 5 of us and we were all driving in from various cities and driving a considerable distance we called ahead and spoke with the owner. We let him know we were coming in especially for the Sunday roast dinner and also told him we were all driving from far away. We wanted to ensure they would have roast and not arrive to find out that they are sold out. He assured us that they had lots available and it wouldn't be an issue. He took our reservation for 630pm. Upon arrival at 630pm on the dot we were at the front door and we met the owner and told him who we were. I jokingly said, you still have roast right...
As a regular visitor to St George I was looking forward to lunch at this establishment. The decor and layout are above average but unfortunately the experience was poor. It appears there are limited air conditioning options as there were large fans placed in the restaurant and made for a noisy atmosphere. When I arrived there were only a few others waiting for food. It took an excessively long time for my order to arrive and the server seemed disinterested in checking on my table. When I asked for my meal to go the server did not apologize for the long wait.
It is nice to see a change up in St. George.....We have noticed the other restaurants have really stepped up their game! The Dragon started out the first couple of months on "Fire" but the last few visits the food seems to have gone downhill....hoping this is just a transition with cooks. There is lots to choose from and lately my favourite is the pulled pork sliders. Nice smokey flavour and good slaw. Worth a try if you are looking for something new in St. George!

We went on a Friday night and found the restaurant was busy but not crowded. We sat down and our server arrived immediately, with a smile and a joke. He made our visit very pleasant.Four of us had entrees, drinks and mains. The entrees arrived quickly and our main courses arrived right on time, after we had finished our entrees. The food was good and the beer was cold.We enjoyed the restaurant and will go again.
Truly a local treasure . The food is excellent with large portions and a good variety for a sports bar. The owners and their staff provide excellent customer service . My family and friends have attended with us on several occasions and have never been disappointed . Would highly recommend . PS: the daily specials are great especially the Fish and chips , and those $4 pints on Saturdays .
We went on a Wednesday night to have the famous Fish and Chips. When I entered the restaurant I was surprised how much smoke was inside. The service was great, the food was good to especially sweet potato fries - awesome! The beer had a right temperature too. It was hard to stay there and enjoy the company and food because od the smoke. Bad ventilation in the kitchen!!!
Good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Restaurant is in a castle theme which the kids liked, the meals were reasonable and the sliders and bbq chicken pizza were very tasty

Was an amazing night busy of course. But was great food and drinks were flowing ... Definitely will be back for another evening of fun and great service and food.
I enjoyed my first visit even though the cook was not in. The staff did their very best to still make it a good lunch. I will go back to experience it again
