Five for lunch. I 've never been in the Dubliners for lunch for no particular reason except I very rarely visit that part of town. The Dubliners is a rustic pub with a very clean and tidy appearance Good start . Food other people eating looked fresh and well presented keeping up the good start . So looking at the menu lots to choose from and as one of our friends has special dietary requirements due to religion has to be appropriate for all. And it was. So mixed bag of orders 2 new chicken sandwiches comes with chips and salad. Very tasty and salad extremely fresh very crispy. Friend had chicken soup, this I feel was the only down side to the meal quote was to thick and gloopy. Last to meals...
The tables were cluttered with empty plates and glasses. None of the kitchen staff or servers were wearing hairnets or hats. The serving counter was messy with dropped food, ruining my appetite for lunch. I did not enjoy the experience at all and would not recommend it. We were only given one roast potato and most of the Yorkshire puddings were burnt. The person serving the meat also seemed to be handling takeaway orders on their own. It appeared that the manager was cleaning the serving counter on her day off, which was not a good sign.
The staff is delightful, providing a friendly welcome. The menu offers a wide variety of options at reasonable prices. The tables are spotless, with hand sanitizer provided at the entrance and on every table. The food consistently exceeds expectations.
Been twice for Sunday lunch which is delicious. The only fault is that you have to queue up and the guy who carves the meat is ridiculously slow. Over half an hour with just 9 people in front of us. Doubt I'll be going again.

They are very tight in dishing out the roast potatoes. Mashed potato was found lumpy , instead of light fluffy. I thought the overall presentation of veg on display should be improved. However, beef and gammon were good.
"The chicken was dry and extremely greasy. The jacket potato was sitting in a pool of wet yellow grease. The hot dog bun was stale and hard. The tea towel they were using was absolutely disgusting."
Had a farewell drinks from work on Friday and spent a couple of hours sat outside in the sunshine in the beer garden. A handy pub from work always busy and good prices on drinks and food
This place is a little gem for food if you want a quick bite or a full meal this is the place. Good value food well cooked. For a lunchtime snack I would recommend the cheesy chips.

food ok but seems real rough lots of bad language and not recomended for sensitive ears could do with good clean up .
