The Dukes Head - Reserva de mesa

This pub is one of the best I have ever been to. The Scottish man who greeted us and showed us to our table was extremely welcoming and friendly. The waitress was quick to bring us some delicious cocktails. Our drinks were promptly served and our food order was taken. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was absolutely incredible. We both ordered the roast dinners, which were cooked perfectly. We were too full to try dessert, as the roast dinners were very filling. The service from all the staff was fantastic, with our waitress, who I believe was also a manager, being professional and engaging. We will definitely be returning next week.

It’s been a few years even though local! since being here, however, thought we would try out the wine and dine offer £100, 3 course and bottle of wine for 2 . Worth every penny. Scallops and steaks were cooked to perfection, and the service was over and beyond. Couldn’t fault a thing. Cannot wait to return for Sunday lunch which we believe is just as good!

First impressions good nice table position, ordered food no problems. Then, Firstly wrong meals brought to the table, Food size good had to wait for Vegetables missed off order, Under cook Roast potatoes very hard, over cook carrots and parsnips, service was bad, £4.50 taken off bill, not adequate. Will not revisit.

Four of us went for dinner, it was the first time for me and my husband! It was incredible, the atmosphere, the food, the staff, it was such an enjoyable evening, although on the more expensive side it was worth it, our waitress didn't miss a trick and joined in with the banter! Had a lovely time at the Dukes Head for dinner great food and a relaxing atmosphere.Big thank you to Abby who was our waitress, she really went the extra mile to ensure we had a nice evening and made us laugh.Would highly recommend.

Went to meet a friend for Birthday drinks, great atmosphere and friendly service from Nicola. There was a group of us and we were given a lovely secluded area in the bar.

I went to this restaurant for my birthday and found the staff to be very friendly. The food was of excellent quality. I highly recommend trying the Camembert sharer.

Great food, atmosphere was spot on. Fortunately we were looked after by Abi and she made our evening even better! BEST banter ever!

Had a great Sunday lunch here, food was amazing along with the service. The roast dinners were to die for!!! Best I have eaten.
